Registration FAQs

When will I receive my registration confirmation?
If you register online, you'll receive your confirmation immediately. All faxed registrations will receive confirmation by e-mail within 5-7 business days.

Are on-site registrations available?
On-site registrations likely will be available, but space is limited to the first 600 registrants. Attendees are strongly encouraged to register in advance. Save money by registering early, and ensure that your registration, meal and event preferences can be honored.

Who qualifies for the member discount?
The member registration price is available to members in good standing of NBIS/Future 500 or The Future 500/Global Futures. For membership information please see www.nbis.org.

Employees of organizations and educational institutions participating on the Executive Planning Committee may register at the member rate. In addition, members of sponsoring or participating organizations may also be eligible. Please check with your organization, or e-mail conference management at conference@nbis.org.

What special rates are available?
Groups of two or more registering together, government and non-profit employees, are eligible for the same rates as members.

Is there additional assistance for small business, government, non-profit workers or students with limited budgets wishing to attend?
Yes, limited funds are available to assist employees of small businesses or government and nonprofit agencies, students, and others who wish to attend. Those interested are encouraged to complete a Scholarship Application (PDF), (or Word file) which includes detailed information about various options for students that include volunteering at the conference; we will notify you if a scholarship is available. Others requesting financial assistance should contact kellym@nbis.org to discuss.

What is the early bird deadline?
The deadline for early registration ended June 7, 2004.

What are the accepted forms of payment?
Registrations must be accompanied by check, money order, purchase order or credit card. Forms received without payment or purchase order will not be processed. Funds must be in U.S. Dollars. Checks or money orders should be made payable to NBIS Sustainable Business Conference. (NBIS is a nonprofit corporation registered in the state of Washington; the NBIS Federal Tax ID number is 432009276.)

Where do I get my tickets and badges?
Paid meal functions and special events require tickets that will be distributed along with your badge at the conference. Name badges are required for admission to all events, meals and exhibit hall.

How do I communicate special needs requests?
If you have special needs and require accommodation, please fax a written description of your requirements to 206-350-2576 or email conference@nbis.org. Should you require special hotel accommodations, please notify the hotel when making your reservation.

Is there downloadable information that I can share with my colleagues?
Feel free to send this downloadable postcard. It is a PDF file that can be attached to an email and easily opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
