Endorsements

This is essentially an economic development program that has excellent environmental results. We are pleased that this project is launching in Puget Sound with the endorsement of the Puget Sound Regional Council.
~Bob Drewel, Executive Director of the Puget Sound Regional Council and the Prosperity Partnership

This is further proof of what we in Seattle have been saying for a long time - that finding new ways to protect our environment and stop global warming will create jobs and economic opportunities. This effort will show that wasting less and reusing more is good for the planet and good for the bottom line.
~Greg Nickels, Mayor, City of Seattle

By-Product Synergy NW is a unique project that works with companies to profitably turn waste into resources that can be used by other companies. Costly waste is eliminated while the reuse of materials reduces greenhouse gas emissions. This process for closing the loop on material flows is integral to the King County mission of leading the Northwest toward a sustainable economy. We laud the By-Product Synergy Network and its participating companies and organizations for bringing this visionary program to the Northwest.
    ~Ron Sims, King County Executive
